60 year old woman arrested for selling fake HGH & Botox

This is from Los Angeles where a 60 year old woman Rana J. Hunter was arrested this Friday at her home at the Marina Tower Apartments, 415 Washington Blvd., by agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for selling counterfeit botox and human growth hormone to spas nationwide.
Hunter used to operate under the business name of Westgate Distributors, which offered Botox and HGH, among other drugs, via the Internet. After the arrest, Hunter made her initial court appearance yesterday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Fernando Olguin, who released her on $65,000 bond pending trial.
Federal agents had begun investigating her in March 2007 when customs officials intercepted numerous packages from China containing vials of HGH and counterfeit Botox addressed to Westgate’s business address in Marina del Rey, ICE spokeswoman Virginia Kice said. The packages were mislabeled various as synthetic hair pieces, plastic molds and “sample iron oxide,” Kice said.
Within the past two months, an undercover ICE agent, in two buys, purchased multiple vials of HGH and a substance that turned out to be counterfeit Botox, Kice said.
If convicted, Hunter faces a statutory maximum of five years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
