HGH products, HGH: Human Growth Hormone, HgH, News

Uh! Oh! Decided to get that enviable physique using Human Growth Hormones but are wondering over its legal issues. Here we pose a solution to your dilemma. Let us discuss the Hgh laws in detail.

Hgh is a synthetically produced injectable prescription drug but is not on the federal list of controlled substances (found in 21 USC § 812(c)). Congress considered scheduling it along with steroids, but then decided against it.

But hold on, although Hgh is not scheduled, 21 USC § 333(e) prohibits the distribution or possession with intent to distribute Hgh to anyone for any reason other than the genuine medical one and also under a valid prescription. Violations may be punishable by imprisonment of up to 5 years and $2,50,000 fine (10 years if to a person under 18 years).

According to the FDA, it should only be prescribed for adults by physicians for the treatment of disease (the wasting syndrome of AIDS) and/or growth hormone deficiency. They generally consider the latter as one that is due to an absolute lack of Hgh as a result of pituitary disease, surgery, radiation or trauma. Growth Hormone Deficiency (GHD)

also includes grownups that were GH deficient during childhood (children of very short stature and certain genetic syndromes).

Again one thing, this is related only to the federal law and the individual states can pass their own Hgh laws. Some states like Idaho, Oregon, Rhode Island, and West Virginia have already done so and they have all scheduled Hgh. Colorado makes Hgh a schedule III controlled substance by including it in the definition of “anabolic steroid”. Illinois doesn’t schedule it, but makes its non-medical distribution a felony.

In a nutshell, Hgh is a prescription drug but it’s not specified under the schedules of controlled substances. It is, however, covered under the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act which however does prohibit the possession and distribution of HGH. So, Hgh can be posed as a legal replacement to steroids for athletes who need hormones for that extra boost.

So, now you have become an expert in Hgh laws. Go ahead and use your expertise wisely!
