HGH and sex hormones work together

1

From an international symposium in Tempe, Arizona, Dr. Cranton abbreviated certain notes. The faculty included university and medical school professors from institutions around the world, such as Johns Hopkins University, NIH, Mayo, Harvard, UVA, UCLA, UCSF, and many more.

According to the excerpts from the notes, HGH and IGF-1 do not promote cancer. Patients with acromegally, who have a pituitary tumor producing massive amounts of HGH, do not have a significantly increased incidence of cancer. Children treated with HGH for dwarfism also do not have an increase in childhood cancer. Also, people receiving HGH by injection for anti-aging and Weight Loss have not shown any increase in cancer.sex hormones

It’s true that IGF-1 blood levels correlate with the incidence of cancers of the sex hormone-dependent organs, (prostate and breast). But that is because IGF-1 is needed for the effectiveness of sex hormones estrogen and testosterone. IGF-1 by itself does not have any effect on cancer. But a sex hormone-dependent cancer (breast or prostate) can be slowed with surgical castration or also by chemically blocking sex hormone effect (Lupron or Tamoxifen). This can be achieved by making IGF-1 deficiency.

So, it is such that cancer can be slowed by depriving the body of IGF-1 and it is not that IGF-1 is the cause of cancer. So, testosterone replacement in men and estrogen replacement in women do not cause cancer by themselves in studies done so far.

Again, HGH is also not as effective if testosterone or estrogen is low. So, HGH and sex hormones work together synergistically. It works both ways.

Do Human Growth Hormones increase the risk of Cancer?

One of the important functions of Human Growth Hormones is growth. That is the main reason why HGH is highest at the growing age and diminishes once a being reaches maturity. HGH therapy works with supplementation and stimulation of Growth Hormones which in turn leads to cell growth and multiplication. But, is increase in the number of cells always beneficial? No, and possibly this is the reason why Human Growth Hormones are said to increase the risk of cancer.

Now, what is cancer? According to the American Cancer Society (ACS), cancer is a group of diseases characterized by uncontrolled growth and spread of abnormal cells. If the spread is not controlled, it can result in death. In cancer, the increased cells don’t do the work which original cells do. So, it is said that if the dose of HGH is not properly administered it may lead to malfunctioned and uncontrolled cell growth leading to cancer. Several studies have been conducted to find out the relation between human growth hormone use and cancer.HGH Production

Human Growth Hormones stimulate the liver to increase production of the natural Insulin-like Growth Factor-1 (IGF-1). However, there are scientific journals showing that elevated IGF-1 levels are strongly associated with major excess risks of colon, prostate, and breast cancers. IGF-1 is suspected to be the major culprit behind growth of cancer cells and it is said that even minor elevations are associated with up to 7-fold increased risks of breast cancer, risks almost as high as those in women carrying genes (BRCA1 and BRCA2) with the strongest hereditary predisposition. In addition to this, IGF-1 also obstructs and inhibits the programmed self-destruction (apoptosis) of cancer cells, thus stimulating the growth and invasiveness of small, undiagnosed cancers, besides increasing the resistance of cancers to chemotherapy.

Also medical science has shown the likeliness of IGF-1 promoting transformation of normal breast cells to breast cancers. In addition, IGF-1 maintains the malignancy of human breast cancer cells, including their invasiveness and ability to spread to distant organs. The side-effect is more so in the prenatal and infant breasts.

However, the conclusive relation between HGH supplementation and cancer is yet to be established. Studies have shown conflicting results about HGH’s role in causing cancer and its effect on the cardiovascular system. But because of its yet to be verified side-effects, Human Growth Hormones are still a controlled substance in many nations.

In 1985, it has been recommended by FDA that human growth hormone medication should be prescribed only by the qualified endocrinologists for highly restricted medical disorders, such as dwarfism due to pituitary gland deficiency.

HGH in treating skin cancer

Dr. Elmer M. Cranton, in his work ‘The book resetting the clock’ has cited one interesting use of HGH. He says that patients with early skin cancer lesions on the face and hands have occasionally found these minor malignancies vanishing without surgery after a period on HGH.sex hormones

A friend and colleague of Dr. Cranton, James P. Frackelton, M.D., of Cleveland, Ohio, had cited similar experiences with his growth hormone patients. In one case a man with a squamous cell carcinoma, one of the faster spreading varieties of skin cancer, was completely cured without surgical or other treatment. Dr. Frackelton has an excellent clinical laboratory next to his office. Measuring immune function before and after growth hormone replacement therapy, he has found consistent increases in natural killer cell lymphocyte (NK) counts in his elderly patients, in some cases by as much as 300 percent.

Talking about thymus regeneration in animals, Dr. Edmund Chein has reported some degree of thymic regeneration within four weeks of beginning HGH supplementation in humans. An interesting early study conducted by scientists at the University of Bologna in Italy also found that giving large doses of intravenous arginine, an amino acid that is known to provoke the secretion of growth hormone, produced almost a full recovery in the secretion of thymic hormones, even at a very old age.

With increasing number of studies exposing new found benefits of Human Growth Hormones, there is no denying the fact that HGH is here to stay.

The natural substances that raise HGH levels naturally

The latest generation of HGH secretagogues blends a number of specialized amino acid compounds and botanical agents into a broad spectrum supplement that brings a new way to enhance well-being and reverse the decline of health associated with aging. The nutrients and botanical agents, which are considered best to increase the HGH levels can be listed down as:

  • 1. Alpha glycerylphosphorylcholine (Alpha GPC)
  • 2. GABA (Gamma Amino Butyric Acid)
  • 3. Ornithine Alpha Ketoglutarate
  • 4. BCAAs (L-valine, L-isoleucine)
  • 5. L-Arginine and L-lysine
  • 6. L-glycine, L-glutamine, and L-tyrosine)
  • 7. Mucuna pruriens (L-Dopa bean extract)
  • 8. Mumie, Moomiyo, or Shilajit
