Anti aging, Guide, HGH: Human Growth Hormone, HgH, Hgh Effects, Review

Just as estrogen and progesterone are the female sex hormones, testosterone is the male sex hormone. Testosterone is the main hormone produced in the testicles and secreted by the testes. The major functions of this hormone are:

    1. Promotes libido, aggressiveness and sexual desire.
    2. Stimulates the growth of certain organs
    3. Promotes protein anabolism, that is, the use of protein to build muscle, skin, and bone and militates against protein catabolism or breakdown.
    4. Stimulates sperm production
    5. Nourishes all the tissues of the male urinary and reproductive system
    6. Regulates the production of prostaglandin, which seems to keep prostate growth under control.

Link between testosterone and aging is also being stressed by scientists. Advocates of HGH in elderly men are also focusing on TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) because of its comparative cheapness and bone-strengthening qualities. Short term studies with testosterone on mildly deficient elderly males have reported beneficial effects on lean body mass and muscle. It has also been found by the researchers of University of Texas that high endogenous testosterone levels predict better performance on visual spatial tests and improved cognitive functions. Another study of men aged 57 to 65 found that testosterone supplementation likewise increased red blood cell count and lowered cholesterol levels.
